About the Serra do Cruzeiro
Serra do Cruzeiro is the highest point surrounding the municipality. It is made up of a long group of hills of rare beauty, providing a contour of ups and downs, and is widely used for motocross trails and paragliding free flight ramps. In 1994, a statue of Christ the Redeemer was erected at the highest point of the mountain, and right in front of the city, made up of 100 pieces assembled by hand. The complex also has an artificial grotto, with life-size images, representing the birth of the baby Jesus and the coming of the 3 wise men, being the place where the traditional revelry of kings takes place.
Results of Reality Capture
The flight was carried out using a drone, followed by the processing of the captured images. Based on this data, we developed a model optimized specifically for application in Virtual Reality.
