REALITY CAPTURE

About the Municipal Theater

Designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer in 1989, the Uberlândia Municipal Theater was opened in 2012. The venue has 781 seats, including special accessible chairs. The stage has two possibilities, internal and external. When opened to the outside, it opens up the possibility of serving around 20 thousand people in a kind of open-air amphitheater. This is an avant-garde function for popular spectacles such as concerts, dance performances, music, circuses, among others. The Theater has modern lighting and sound for shows. The orchestra elevator allows musicians to be at strategic heights, according to the needs of each performance. The angle of inclination of the audience and the construction of a new internal wall expands the view of the stage and reduces the need to use microphones.

Results of Reality Capture

The flight was carried out using a drone, followed by the processing of the captured images. Based on this data, we developed a model optimized specifically for application in Virtual Reality.
